Petroleum Coke

Petroleum Coke (Pet Coke) is a carbon-rich solid material that derives from oil refining, and is one type of the group of fuels referred to as cokes. Pet Coke in particular derives from a cracking process - a thermo-based chemical engineering process that splits long chain hydrocarbons of petroleum into shorter chains.

Pet Coke is a material relatively low in cost and high in heat value and carbon content with good chemical stability, making it an efficient and cost-effective fuel for producing metal, brick and related products.

Applications: The main application is as raw material for carbon electrodes and other synthetic carbon products. It is also used in friction materials; sometimes just as a pigment, but it particularly offers good lubricity, resistance to heat and high conductivity. It additionally provides good resistance to chemical attacks and to abrasion.

We can offer various carbon contents and particle size distributions.
