Magnetite

We can offer a natural black Magnetite of high purity (min. 98.5% Fe₃O₄) with an extremely low content of SiO₂. This material is not chemically treated. The hardness is 5.5 Mohs; various - also micronized - particle size distributions are available.

Main applications: 

• Friction (as mild abrasive and to support corona-style powder coating)
• Magnetic paints 
• Pigments
• VIP (Vacuum Insulation Panels)
