Nano Powders
In recent years the market for nano technology and - resulting therefrom - Nano Powders has become more and more important. Nano Powders is a field which will be of steadily growing significance in the future.
In response to this new demand we are now able to provide a variety of Nano Powders in large scale in order to enable our customers to develop and manufacture high-quality products as well as improve the performance of existing ones.
Our Nano Powders all have a maximum particle size of 100 nanometres (nm; 1x10-9m). Based on their chemical composition, they are classified in different groups, such as: Graphene, nano carbides, nano metals, nano metal oxides, nano nitrides.
Due to the particle size and the correspondingly larger surface-area-to-volume ratio, there are various beneficial features/properties that distinguish nano from bulk material. Examples are reactivity, toughness, conductivity, scattering, absorption to name a few.
The following is a brief list of the main Nano Powders which we are pleased to introduce to you:
- Graphene
- Nano molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)
- Nano silicon (Si)
- Nano silicon carbide (SiC)
- Nano silicon dioxide (SiO2)
- Nano silicon nitride (Si3N4)
- Nano silver (Ag)
- Nano titanium carbide (TiC)
- Nano titanium dioxide (TiO2)
- Nano titanium nitride (TiN)
- Nano tungsten disulfide (WS2)
- Nano zinc oxide (ZnO)
- Nano zirconium carbide (ZrC)
- Nano zirconium dioxide (ZrO2)
- Rare earth powders
- Silica, amorphous (fumed silica)
In the near future, we are planning to add further Nano Powders to our range of materials, such as:
- Nano copper (Cu)
- Nano magnesium oxide (MgO)
- Nano cerium dioxide (CeO2)
- Nano yttrium oxide (Y2O3)
